Nashua Children’s Home

Nashua Children’s Home has a century-long tradition and a history of responsiveness to community needs. In 1899, Josiah Fletcher donated property on the corner of Burrett and Brook Streets in Nashua to the First Baptist Church “for the purpose of maintaining a home for orphans and destitute children of Nashua and vicinity.” The agency commenced operation in 1903 as the “Nashua Protestant Orphanage Association,” administered by a Board of Directors representing all of the Protestant Churches of Nashua.

Back To School Donors

NewPower Worldwide Shoe Donations: We would like to thank NewPower Worldwide of Nashua for treating all of the kids at Nashua Children’s Home with their choice of back-to-school shoes from Alec’s Shoes!

NewPower has provided the kids with this tradition for many years now, along with a great deal of other ongoing support. We can’t thank them enough for your amazing generosity! The kids are all very excited to show off their new kicks!

Other "Back To School" Generosity: The Nashua Soup Kitchen "Back to School" drive provided 40 backpacks and school supplies to NCH. We were also happy to receive school supplies from Cirtronics, and JC Penney organized a wonderful school supply drive as well!  Thank you to all of our amazing donors!
